Recent Works
2019 - 2020
Since going into lockdown in March 2020 we have been unable to get into the life studio. So when the lockdown eased slightly and allowed us to go a little bit further afield we discovered the surrounding landscapes and graveyards. Anywhere that was quiet and off the beaten track.
On returning home I played around with my photographs to get the works seen here.

This is a sketch of Sudbury Meadows seated at the Mill Hotel with their table in the foreground. I merrily sat there for a while with a glass of wine on this Summer day and when I got home I played around with photo's till i came up with this one which i thought worked wonderfully with the streaks through the sky.

Polstead is a stunning graveyard. I had a friend tell me about it so we went up there to check it out. Sunny afternoons drawing of the graveyard and trees beyond on landscape paper overlaid with some peely paint from a boat bottom.

Yes you guessed it - my garden. A small courtyard with many pots. We stayed home today. The image overlaying it is one of a rockpool in Kynance Cove taken on a holiday with my sister.
